Pompeii VETTII Fresco Art Charm Bracelet Stack, Gift for Italy Lover, Ancient Rome Enthusiast, Classical Art Jewelry, Italy-Themed Gift

A perfect gift for the Italy lover, Ancient Rome history buff, or anyone who appreciates beautiful and unique conversation pieces, this handmade matching bracelet stack jewelry set includes: one beaded bracelet with custom designed pendant, and two additional coordinating beaded bracelets that can be mix and matched, worn layered together or separately. I handcraft each of my pendants using laser engraved wax seal stamps that I custom designed. The Vettii design is the newest addition to my Eterna Collection, inspired by ancient and classical art, architecture and symbology. The design in my Vettii pieces are taken from a decorative element from one of the most richly decorated homes in the ancient city of Pompeii, a wealthy Roman coastal town on the Bay of Naples that was destroyed by a massive volcano in 79 AD. Most of it, and its inhabitants were quickly buried in the rubble. Archaeologists are still excavating and uncovering new artifacts to this day with a third of the city still yet to be uncovered. I was finally able to visit Pompeii for the first time in 2023, fulfilling a lifelong dream and toured a newly excavated home recently opened to the public - The House of the Vettii. Named after the pair of freedmen (former slaves) who had become wealthy and owned the home, it was sprawling with its own plumbing (still remaining today) and lavishly decorated. After reminiscing through my pictures months later, I noticed a delictate little design over one of the frescoes (itself a fresco). “How unique and pretty that is” I thought to myself. And then it occurred to me…what better way to remember such a special experience, a magnificent time in civilization and honor the memory of such a tragic event in history than creating a piece of jewelry that one can wear and treasure from anywhere in the world? From a 2,000 year old villa in ancient Pompeii, a painting from the hand of a Roman artist becomes a work of art on yours. A truly special and unique treasure for generations.
